Eugenio Riotto, after a long journey at the service of the art, although of Sicilian roots, but so deeply permeated by the land of Versilia, arrives in Pietrasanta, cradle of the art. His figures without face reflect the soul and the features of all of us, protagonists of the daily life and continuously overturned by love. Riotto’s sculptures cross over the time and convey to us an universal message of love: fraternal, filial, conjugal, and … trascendent. The message remains all in the two embracing angels and remind us that the strength of good in a world full of pain is today the only possible universal message. The beauty interpreted in the sublimable sense of love and goodness is expression of an ideal which keeps the artistic universe of the artist, who makes it explicit with an infinite sweetness and overwhelming passion.
